Temperature and Pressure Calibration is a new service we at Sartorius are pleased to offer our customers. This service includes the checking and calibrating of:

Why would I need it?

Most, if not all, users have to have some form of accreditation from a notifiable body such as ISO9002, UKAS or BS 5750. If the test equipment you use is not calibrated and certified then you would invalidate your accreditation. For example, think of it in terms of using fermenters for the production of vaccines, if you state that the temperature should be 100°c but it is actually out by 20°c then the end product would provide very different results from a fermenter with 100% heating accuracy. The calibration and certification ensure that the equipment you use is as accurate as possible.
