If you would like to book a Health Check for your balance or scale, please complete our contact form, making sure you include details of the equipment including model and serial number. We'll contact you to confirm the price and how to proceed.
Our Health Check is designed to check your weighing product's performance and make necessary adjustments so that the equipment is functioning correctly. A certificate of the products performance will then be issued as well as a user manual where available.
If the product is not performing correctly after the health check adjustments, you will then be notified that either a repair or exchange will be required.
It's important when using weighing equipment to have confidence that the equipment is performing correctly. Although weighing equipment is generally reliable there is always a possibility that the equipment may not be totally accurate.
Poor performance can be caused by overloading of the weighing capacity, knocking or dropping the equipment or dirt affecting the weighing system. Sometimes equipment is stored in a cupboard for some months prior to use. When the equipment is used performance checks should be carried out to ensure that it is suitable for the task required.
