Checks carried out
· Check weighing equipment repeatability
· Check Weighing equipment off center loading
· Check Weighing equipment linearity
· Check that displayed readings are visible
· Check that the scale is clean
· Check that the level indicator is working
· Check that the data output is communicating (Sartorius Equipment Only)
· Check that the print from the printer is legible

Corrective actions
· Clean the equipment
· Make adjustments to Weighing equipment off center loading if required
· Make adjustments to Weighing equipment linearity if required
· Remove any objects that are touching the weighing system and are causing repeatability errors
· Replace any damaged dust covers
· Replace Printer ribbons and accumulators on Sartorius printers.
· Issue a certificate of performance for weighing equipment.
· Issue User Manual where available.

General
· Sartorius will arrange collection of the weighing equipment from the customer’s site and dispatch the equipment back. If packaging materials are required this can be requested.
· Please complete the one line form to register for this offer and receive your RTN number.
· The customer will be notified of any product that was submitted on the on line form that is not part of this offer or cannot be checked in the repair centre.
· Any products that can not be checked in the repair centre can be checked on site by a field technician.
· The customer will be notified prior to any collection or site visit if there are any changes to the standard price.
· It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the packaging and the packaging materials are sufficient to withstand the transportation. Please refer to the Packaging document for general packaging requirements.
· Once the customer has received the RTN number the equipment must be ready for collection by the Sartorius carrier when the carrier arrives. Collections are normally carried out within 1 working day of the RTN been issued.
· All packaging supplied that is marked with the recycle label can be collected by Sartorius Ltd for future use.
