Certificate of Confidence
If you need to prove that your weighing instruments are accurate and traceable so you can weigh with confidence, you need the Sartorius Certificate of Confidence.
While a standard calibration certificate can give you information about linearity, repeatability and corner loads, it does not give you any indication on the uncertainty of the measurements that are being generated.
The Uncertainty of Measurement is a parameter that takes into account all of the variables associated with your weighing process and can assure you that your results are correct with the highest measurable confidence.
Uncertainty can result from the measuring instrument, from the item being measured, from the environment, from the operator, and from other sources.
In producing the Certificate of Confidence we...
Account for variables in the local weighing process - e.g. physical conditions at the location of weighing instrument
Have full traceability of all weights, measuring equipment etc. back to national standards
Measure all relevant environmental conditions - e.g. temperature, pressure, humidity etc.
Take an increased number of weighing measurements to a recognised international standard
