The Combics range includes explosion proof indicators and platforms manufactured in stainless steel. The CIXS3 Indicator features a built-in A/D converter for analog platforms or load cells up to 32 t with an optional interface for digital platform.

Combics CAPXS platforms feature a weighing capacity from 0.1 g to 3 t,, and can also be supplied factory-verified for legal metrology. The low profile stainless steel design is available in 11 different sizes. CAPXS platforms can be used with Combics CIXS3 indicator in Zone 20 environments.

Sartorius can also assist with in-area filling in hazardous areas, with the Combics 3 Filling. The Combics 3 Filling solution offers automatic single-component filling (coarse and fine flow) to a target weight, for attaining a target fill quantity through additive or discharge filling.

For zones 2 and 22 option Y2 should be selected with platforms and indicators.
