Introduction

The LMA500 Moisture Meter uses spectroscopy. It exploits the interaction between light and the sample. If the sample is exposed to near infrared light (NIR), a part of this light is reflected and modified characteristically on interaction with the sample. This change in the NIR light, which is dependent on the water content of the sample, reveals its moisture content.

Benefits

  • Measuring range between 0.1 % and 50 % moisture content
  • Very fast response time (< 2 sec.)
  • Big Touch Screen 8,4’’ TFT (SGVA)
  • Non destructive measurement: sample can be used for other purposes
  • Wide range of software for easy and fast creation of basic calibrations (even without special knowledge of spectroscopy)
  • Simple and quick adjustments of calibrations by using the rapid moisture meter MA35 (as accessory)
  • User data storage allows creation of individual user permissions
  • Network-compatible via Ethernet connection
